Control equipment for the Evacuation Alert System (EAS) should be prominently sited, within a secure enclosure, on the normal fire and rescue service entrance level, at a location close to the normal fire and rescue service entrance.

A suitable Evacuation Alert Control & Indicating Equipment (EACIE) or Premises Information Box (PIB) sign should be fixed to the door of the cabinet.
