Standard plain aluminium rivets are small mechanical fasteners used to permanently join materials together.
They are made of lightweight and durable aluminium. It makes them ideal for use in the aerospace, automotive, and construction industries, among others. These rivets consist of a cylindrical shaft with a tapered end and a head on the other.
To install the rivet, a hole is drilled through the materials to be joined, and the rivet is inserted into the hole. Then, a tool known as a rivet gun is used to pull the tapered end of the rivet through the materials, causing it to expand and form a tight bond.
