Under BS EN ISO 7010 and BS 5499, Designated Smoking Area signs are classified as Safe Condition signs, normally using white text on a green background with an approved symbol. However, we believe smoking should not be presented as “safe.”

To reflect the known health risks, our Designated Smoking Area signs use black instead of green to clearly distinguish them from genuine Safe Condition signs.

Materials explained:
