Uses
Aluminium washers tend to be used with a nut or a bolt to provide a smooth surface to distribute the weight of a load over a wider surface area. They can be used for oil drain points and many outdoor applicants where they are exposed to extreme weather conditions. They are also used within electrical applications as aluminium is non-magnetic, able to carry currents and does not easily spark.
